Lullabies: A love letter to the night

Every day the sun sets on cities across the planet, and in that instant a second dawn occurs. A cacophony of colors and patterns, exists as a form of aleatoric art. Streets and shops illuminated for functionality create visual juxtapositions of color and luminosity; all the while the drama of humanity stacked upon itself unfolds in the streets. For years I battled anxiety and depression which often manifest itself in insomnia. To combat this, or at the very least to occupy my time I began wandering the cities I was in late at night. Searching for odd moments, or accidental interactions of color and light. In many this project became a sort of personal love letter to the beautiful madness of our illuminated world.
